Worth every penny, even on the Max plan
I have tried every Claude plan - Free, Pro, and Max - and here is the honest truth: if you are a heavy user doing serious coding or content work, even the Max plan can feel tight on usage. That should tell you something about how much people actually use Claude compared to other AI tools. The only real frustration I have hit is not unique to Claude: when a conversation gets long or contains 100+ images, you have to start a new chat and lose context. This is an industry-wide limitation, not a Claude-specific flaw. On pricing, yes it is not cheap, but the per-output quality and consistency justify it for me. I would rather pay more for a tool that finishes the job than pay less for one that gives me a starting point I still have to finish myself.

From answering questions to actually solving problems
The practical difference between Claude and other AI tools shows up in how they respond. With ChatGPT, I would ask something and get an answer that was often technically correct but felt detached from what I actually needed. Claude consistently anticipates the real goal - when I'm coding, it gives me the working implementation. When I'm writing, it gives me the finished piece, not just suggestions. When I'm designing a system, it proposes the architecture. This shift from answer mode to solution mode makes a huge difference when you're building something real. I use it daily for coding, writing, and project planning, and it has yet to feel like a limitation in any of those areas.

The best AI assistant I have used, period
I started using Claude in 2026 after seeing claims that non-developers could actually code with it. Skeptical at first, but I tried it - and it genuinely changed how I work. What impressed me most is that Claude doesn't just answer questions, it delivers complete solutions. Ask ChatGPT for help with a problem and you get an explanation. Ask Claude and you often get working code, a finished draft, or an actionable plan in the same response. For structure design, writing, and especially coding, it's as close to perfect as any AI tool I have used. Honestly, Claude feels less like another chatbot and more like the upgraded version of everything else on the market.
